Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) has officially announced the commencement of institute-level counselling for the MTech Data Science program for the academic year 2026. This initiative aims to fill the available vacancies in the first-year MTech course, specifically targeting the Data Science specialization. According to the latest vacancy report, there are currently seven seats open for this counselling session.In a bid to ensure a fair admission process, RGPV has outlined that any vacant seats reserved for specific categories will be converted according to applicable regulations if eligible candidates from those categories do not attend the counselling. Prospective students interested in securing a seat must complete a separate registration through the MP Online portal, following the guidelines provided on the Directorate of Technical Education's website.Once registered, candidates are required to report in person for the counselling session at the School of Information Technology (SOIT) at RGPV. The designated time for reporting is between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM. It is crucial for candidates to adhere to this timeframe, as only those who arrive during the specified hours will be considered for admission to the available seats. Additionally, the number of vacant seats may increase if any candidates who have already secured admission decide to cancel their enrollment.Candidates must bring original documents along with one photocopy of each for verification during the counselling process. Required documents include the counselling-level registration receipt, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, graduation mark sheet, proof of residence or domicile, a declaration from the candidate or guardian, a copy of the online registration, and any applicable caste or income certificates. Furthermore, candidates should also present their original transfer and character certificates, along with two recent photographs.Admissions will be conducted in accordance with the rules established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Directorate of Technical Education. In the event that a candidate cancels their admission, the refund of the deposited fee will be processed according to the established cancellation policies.
