This initial round of counselling is intended for candidates seeking admission to 50 percent of the state quota seats for MD and MS postgraduate medical courses.

Qualified candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET PG examination are now invited to submit their applications through the designated online portals. The university has activated the registration links at knruhs.telangana.gov.in and tspgmed.tsche.in to facilitate the admission process for eligible applicants.

Application Deadlines and Fee Structure

The deadline for completing the online registration process is set for October 23, 2026. Candidates must ensure their applications are submitted before the cutoff time of 4 PM on this date. University officials have encouraged students to complete their registration well in advance of the deadline to prevent any potential technical complications that may arise during the final hours of the application window.

The university has also outlined the category-wise application fees for the counselling process. Candidates belonging to the Unreserved and Backward Classes categories are required to pay a registration fee of INR 10,000, plus applicable bank transaction charges. For candidates falling under the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, the registration fee is set at INR 8,000, also excluding additional bank transaction charges.

Counselling Process and Next Steps

The current registration phase is a critical step for students aiming to secure a postgraduate medical seat within the state of Telangana. Applicants are expected to provide all necessary documentation as specified by KNRUHS to support their eligibility for the state quota seats. While the registration portal remains open, candidates are advised to monitor the official KNRUHS website regularly for any further updates or notifications regarding the subsequent stages of the counselling schedule.
