The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Telangana is set to announce the details for the TG ICET special phase counselling, also known as the spot admission round. This announcement follows the successful completion of the final phase counselling for the TG ICET 2026, which concluded with the release of seat allotment results on August 21. Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to pay their admission fees and report to their respective institutes by August 25.

As per the latest updates from the DTE, the notification regarding the special phase counselling is expected to be released today, August 24. In line with previous admission cycles, if a special phase counselling is not conducted this year, candidates can anticipate the release of spot counselling details shortly thereafter.
