The TS EAMCET 2026 spot round vacancy status has been officially released, providing crucial information for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programs. This announcement comes as part of the institutional spot admissions process, which aims to fill vacant seats in universities, government engineering colleges, and private unaided engineering colleges following the completion of the Centralised Internal Sliding Allotments. Candidates are encouraged to review the vacancy details available on the official TGEAPCET website, tgeapcet.nic.in, to assess their options.

According to the established schedule, colleges will display their vacancy details on notice boards starting August 17, 2026. Notifications regarding spot admissions will also be issued on the same day, with additional announcements appearing in newspapers on August 18. The actual spot admissions are set to take place on August 19 and 20, 2026. Candidates interested in this opportunity must approach the respective colleges directly to initiate the admission process.

To be eligible for spot admission, candidates must present their original certificates for verification. Those without the required documents will not be allowed to participate in the process. Initially, vacant seats will be allocated to candidates who have qualified in the TG EAPCET 2026 and meet the necessary examination criteria. Specifically, candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, achieving the minimum required marks—40% for SC/ST/BC candidates and 45% for others.

If seats remain unfilled, candidates who do not possess a TGEAPCET 2026 rank but meet the qualifying examination standards may also be considered for admission. However, candidates from other states who have studied outside the state and are currently residing elsewhere are ineligible for spot admissions. It is important to note that all admissions conducted through this institutional spot round will require ratification by the TG EAPCET 2026 Convener.

Candidates must bring original copies of several documents, including their SSC marks memo, Intermediate or equivalent certificate, study certificates, TGEAPCET 2026 rank card (if applicable), caste certificate (if relevant), and residence certificate (if necessary). Additionally, a processing fee is required: Rs 1,300 for TGEAPCET-2026 qualified candidates and Rs 2,100 for those who are not qualified. It is important to note that no fee reimbursement will be available for candidates admitted through institutional spot admissions.
