The University of Engineering and Management (UEM) Jaipur recently held its 10th convocation ceremony, during which degrees were awarded to 267 students from various academic programs. The event took place on February 22 at 10 a.m. at the UEM Jaipur campus. As per the university's official statement, students from undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, management, physiotherapy, and computer applications were conferred degrees and medals. The awards included 15 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 12 bronze medals, along with 4 PhD degrees, 202 undergraduate degrees, and 61 postgraduate degrees. The convocation also featured the conferment of honorary doctorate degrees (Honoris Causa) upon several notable figures for their contributions in various fields. The recipients included Sudha Murty, recipient of the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, Rajya Sabha member, chairperson of Murty Trust, and founder-chairperson of Infosys Foundation; KJ Singh, PVSM, AVSM, and Bar Veteran, former Western Army Commander, former Haryana State Information Commissioner, and advisor to the Chief Minister of Haryana; Major General Kuldip Singh, VSM; Sujit Kumar Sarkar, former Director General of Police and former Chief Information Commissioner of West Bengal; Raja Maji, Director of Growth at Lera Technologies, USA; Vineet Mittal, Founder and Chairman of Avaada Group; and KP Ghatak, Emeritus Professor at IEM Kolkata, West Bengal.
