UP NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Schedule Released

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) has officially released the counselling schedule for the stray vacancy round of the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026. This final phase of the state-level counselling process is intended for candidates seeking admission into MBBS and BDS programmes for the 2026-27 academic session.

Eligible students who wish to participate in this round can access the registration portal through the official website at upneet.gov.in. The registration window for the stray vacancy round has been opened and will remain accessible to candidates until 11:00 AM on November 7, 2026. It is essential for participants to complete their registration within this specified timeframe to be considered for the subsequent stages of the admission process.

Key Dates and Counselling Process

Following the conclusion of the registration period, the authorities are scheduled to release the state merit list on November 7, 2026. This list will serve as a critical reference for the seat allotment process, determining the eligibility and ranking of candidates for the remaining available seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.

Candidates are advised to monitor the official website regularly for updates regarding the choice-filling process and the subsequent announcement of the seat allotment results. Once the seat allotment results are published, successful candidates will be required to complete the reporting process at their respective allotted colleges. Detailed instructions regarding the documentation and physical reporting requirements are expected to be provided by the DGME in accordance with the established counselling timeline.
