Following the conclusion of the selection process, the commission has shortlisted 617 candidates who are now recommended for admission into the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Naval Academy.

The final merit list, which was published on November 5, includes 551 male candidates and 66 female candidates. This list represents the culmination of the examination cycle, with successful candidates now moving toward the next stages of their military training and induction, provided they meet all prescribed eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Defence.

Among the male candidates, Ishaan Pachauri secured the first position, followed by Aarsh Kukreja, Kaustav Baunthiyal, Ish Phogat, and Mithlesh Yadav. In the female category, Shreya N Gowda topped the list, with Avika Sharma, Rajshree Rai, Pankaj Kumari, and Vanshika Choudhary also ranking among the top five.

Provisional Status and Documentation Requirements

The UPSC has clarified that the selection of all 617 candidates remains provisional at this stage. To finalize their admission, candidates are required to submit essential documentation to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting at the Adjutant General's Branch, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army), located in RK Puram, New Delhi. This requirement applies to all candidates who have not yet submitted their certificates regarding date of birth, educational qualifications, and other relevant claims.

It is imperative that candidates ensure all their records are up to date with the recruitment authorities to avoid any complications during the final induction process. As the results are now public, candidates are advised to keep a downloaded copy of the merit list for their personal records and monitor official communications from the Ministry of Defence for further instructions regarding their reporting schedules.
