The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially opened the application window for the VITEEE 2027 entrance examination. Prospective students aiming for BTech admission are encouraged to review the updated fee structure and payment guidelines before submitting their applications. The university has confirmed that the registration process is currently active, with a final deadline set for March 31, 2027.
Candidates planning to appear for the entrance test should note that the registration fee has been revised for this academic cycle. It is essential for applicants to ensure that their payment is processed successfully through the official portal before the specified deadline to avoid any complications with their candidature.
For the 2027 admission cycle, the application fee for Indian nationals is set at INR 1450. Applicants falling under the NRI category are required to pay a fee of USD 90. These charges remain consistent across all streams, including both MPCEA and BPCEA, ensuring a uniform application process for all candidates regardless of their chosen subject combination.
To complete the payment, candidates must navigate to the fee payment section after filling out their details in the online application form. The university accepts payments via net banking, credit cards, and debit cards. Once the transaction is successful, applicants are advised to download and retain a printout of the payment receipt for their records. The university has clarified that the registration fee is strictly non-refundable. However, in instances where an additional amount is erroneously deducted from a candidate's account, the excess funds will be credited back to the original source within a period of 7 to 10 days.
The window for fee payment remains open until the final registration date of March 31, 2027. Candidates are encouraged to complete their submissions well in advance to prevent any last-minute technical issues. By adhering to the official payment modes and ensuring all details are correctly entered, students can ensure their application is processed without delay. All applicants should monitor the official portal for any further updates regarding the examination schedule or admission procedures as they become available.
