WBJEE DCAP 2026: Phase 2 Special Vacancy Seat Allocation Released

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially released the seat allocation results for the Phase 2 special vacancy round of the decentralised counselling process (DCAP) for 2026. Students who participated in this round can now access their allocation status exclusively through the board's official website, wbjeeb.co.in.

The seat allocation process has been conducted based on a combination of factors, including the candidates' ranks, their submitted preferences, and the availability of seats across participating institutions. In instances where candidates have received multiple allocations, they are required to select their preferred option and lock it to proceed with the admission process.

Steps to Access Allocation Results and Admission Requirements

To view their allocation results, candidates must visit the official WBJEEB portal and navigate to the login section. By entering their registered User ID and password, applicants can access their specific allocation details. The board has clarified that the website is the sole platform for checking these results, and no other notification methods will be employed.

Candidates who have been successfully allocated a seat must complete the provisional admission process by the specified deadline. This involves the payment of a seat acceptance fee amounting to INR 2,000. The payment must be completed online using net banking, a credit card, or a debit card no later than 10 AM on October 3, 2026. Following the payment, candidates are required to report to their respective allotted institutes for physical document verification, which must be concluded by 1 PM on October 3, 2026. During this designated window, candidates also have the option to withdraw their admission if they choose to do so.

Future Rounds and Further Updates

The current Phase 2 special round was initiated to address and fill existing vacancies within the participating colleges and universities. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has indicated that if a significant number of seats remain vacant following this round, additional phases of allocation may be organised.
