XLRI Jamshedpur has announced that it will conduct the official mock test for the XAT 2027 exam on August 30. This preparatory test is exclusively available to candidates who register for the XAT exam by August 27. The mock test aims to provide participants with a realistic experience of the actual examination, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the test format and structure.
To participate in the XAT 2027 mock test, candidates must complete their registration and pay the required fee by the deadline. The mock test will mirror the actual exam in terms of structure and difficulty, ensuring that candidates can gauge their preparedness effectively. The test will be conducted in a remote proctored mode and will last for 180 minutes, similar to the actual exam duration.
The XAT mock test will consist of four sections: Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. Candidates will face a total of 95 questions, each carrying one mark, with a total score of 95 marks available. The examination will be conducted online, and candidates will have five answer choices for each question.
In terms of the marking scheme, candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, while incorrect answers will incur a penalty of 0.25 marks. Additionally, if a candidate leaves more than eight consecutive questions unanswered, they will be penalized 0.10 marks. It is important to note that there is no negative marking for questions in the General Knowledge section.
