AMU Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection Criteria
For most courses, AMU admission 2025 is based on entrance exams. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme must possess valid AMUEEE 2025 scores. Admission to the MBA programme is determined by candidates' performance in the AMU-CAT 2025 entrance test, which is conducted by the University. AMU Admission 2025: Fees and Seat Allocation

Steps for the AMU Admission Process 2025
Candidates can apply for their desired courses on the CUET website, and those who take the CUET in the relevant subjects will be eligible for counselling and admission. Some courses for which AMU accepts CUET-UG scores include BA (Hons), BVoc, BSc (Hons), etc. For certain specialisations within these programmes, CUET may not be applicable. The admission procedure for AMU courses through CUET is as follows:
- Registration and form submission on the AMU website (cuet.samarth.ac.in)
- CUET exam
- Online application form for AMU (amucontrollerexams.com) using the CUET application number
- Release of the merit/selection list or notification through other means
- Registration and participation in counselling (if shortlisted)

The process for AMU CUET counselling is as follows:
STEP 1: Registration
Shortlisted or selected candidates can register for counselling. Selected students must visit AMU's official website (amucontrollerexams.com or counselling.amuonline.ac.in) to register for counselling. The admission fee may also need to be paid on the same portal. The fee details for respective courses are available on the official website.
STEP 2: Provisional Admission
Following counselling, provisional admission is granted to selected candidates. Aspirants should check the AMU official website for updates regarding this process.
STEP 3: Document Verification & Physical Reporting
After selection, candidates must submit a list of documents for verification. Original documents must be presented. The required documents for physical reporting to complete provisional admission include:
- Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination (with four self-attested photocopies)
- Transfer/migration and character certificate (If the certificate is unavailable, an undertaking on the prescribed format must be submitted by the due date)
- High school certificate or its equivalent to verify the date of birth
- Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (with a white background)
- Documents supporting any special categories claimed in the application form
- Leave sanction/relieving order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employed.
- Name removal certificate from the rolls of the concerned faculty/college/unit (if already enrolled in another full-time course at AMU)
- Two self-addressed envelopes with postage stamps worth INR 22 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted).
- Two undertakings on plain paper – one from the candidate and the other from the parents/guardian regarding not engaging in ragging
- Latest vaccination certificate for Typhoid, Cholera, and Hepatitis “B” – (applicable only for BSc Nursing course)
