Established in 2003, Amrita School of Dentistry, Kochi commonly referred to as Amrita Dental College, is part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University. It launched the UG-level BDS program in the same year, inaugurated by the then Health Minister, Sushma Swaraj. Recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), the School currently provides BDS and MDS programs along with a diploma course in Dental Mechanics that includes comprehensive training modules.
