Q: Which is best for the BDes, GLS Institute of Design Entrance Exam or UCEED?

GLS Institute of Design only accepts admission through its own conducted entrance exam known as the Design Aptitude Test for which the candidate must have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate and should fill out the application form through the institute’s official website by paying an application fee of INR 2,000. Candidates selected through the GLS Institute entrance test will have to go through the Personal Interview (PI) round and those who qualify for the PI round will be selected for final seat allotment.

GLS Institute of Design offers BDes and Integrated MDes programmes across four specialisations. Given below are the complete details regarding BDes and Integrated MDes programmes:BDes: GLS Institute of Design offers a four-year full-time Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme across four specialisations, i.e. Product Design, environmental design, Fashion Design, and Communication Design.Integrated MDes: GLS Institute also offers an Integrated MDes programme which is a combination of both BDes and MDes programmes. The said programme is also offered in four specialisations just like BDes.Common eligibility & selection process for BDes & Integrated MDes programmes:The candidate should have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate.Candidates are required to appear for the Design Aptitude Test conducted by GLS Institute of Design based on which candidates will be shortlisted for the personal interaction/ interview round.Those who qualify for the Personal Interview (PI) round will be selected for the final seat allotment.
