GNLU Gandhinagar (NLU) - Gujarat National Law University

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) was founded by the Government of Gujarat through the GNLU Act 2003. The University provides an undergraduate program across five streams, postgraduate programs in over 10 specializations, and a PhD program in Law and Interdisciplinary studies. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India (BCI). GNLU has also received an A grade accreditation from NAAC.

In addition, the University’s campus spans 50 acres and is equipped with essential facilities such as a library, internet access, laboratories, moot court halls, an auditorium, and more. The University hosts 12 research centers and has around 60 faculty members dedicated to teaching and research.

Besides degree programs, the University offers nine distinct chair/fellowship programs in the field of law. It also operates a student exchange program with over 30 prestigious foreign universities. Some of the partner institutions include the University of Cologne in Germany, the University of Barcelona, the World Trade Institute in Switzerland, Osaka University, and several others.
