The selection process of IIM Ahmedabad is bifercated into two phases. The phase one includes, shortlisting candidates for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI) on the basis of CAT score and the second phase includes, the final selection of candidates for admission based on Final Composite Scores. The final composite scores are derieved from academic record, diversity, work experience, and weightage assigned to each component. Hence, scoring 100 percentile in CAT does not guarantee a seat in IIM Ahmedabad as there are multiple factors taken into consideration including the past academic. Also, candidates seeking IIM Admission 2024 must have a minimum overall CAT cutoff of 80 Percentile Ranks for General and EWS category, 75 Percentile for NC-OBC-cum-transgender, 70 Percentile for SC, 60 for ST, 70 Percentile for PwD (General, EWS, NC-OBC-cum-transgender, SC) and 60 Percentile for PwD (ST).
