The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has issued a formal circular addressing the circulation of misleading information regarding the MHT CET 2027 examination. The authority has explicitly clarified that no official schedule, including exam dates or registration timelines, has been released for the upcoming entrance test.
In a decisive move to curb the spread of inaccurate information, the CET Cell has issued a legal notice to the YouTube channel identified as 'Digital Master.' The regulatory body stated that the channel had been disseminating unverified details concerning the MHT CET 2027 process, which has caused significant confusion among prospective students and their parents.
According to the official circular released on October 19, 2026, the CET Cell has directed the YouTube channel to remove the content in question immediately. The authority has also extended this legal notice to Google India’s offices in both Delhi and Mumbai, highlighting the seriousness with which the state body is treating the dissemination of false information regarding the entrance examination.
The CET Cell reiterated that the dates for the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) groups for the 2027 session have not been finalized or announced. The administration emphasized that any information currently circulating on social media platforms or third-party websites regarding the exam calendar should be disregarded by candidates.
The state authority has advised all candidates to rely exclusively on official communication channels for updates regarding the MHT CET 2027. Students, parents, and other stakeholders are urged to monitor the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org for authentic notifications, application procedures, and confirmed examination schedules.
By taking this action, the CET Cell aims to protect students from potential misinformation that could impact their preparation and planning. Candidates are encouraged to wait for the official release of the information bulletin, which will be published directly on the official portal once the schedule is finalized.
