IIIT Raichur - Indian Institute of Information Technology

IIIT Raichur is an emerging institute, founded in 2019, and situated in Raichur, Karnataka. It was initiated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Although its operations began temporarily from the IIT Hyderabad campus in Telangana, IIIT Raichur welcomed its first batch for the Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. During its formative phase, IIT Hyderabad provided substantial assistance to IIIT Raichur, facilitating its complete functionality.

The hostels at IIIT Raichur are designated for girls and boys separately, while the campus is equipped with academic and administrative buildings. However, the IIITR campus is still under construction, meaning there is currently no permanent campus for IIIT Raichur.

In response to the positive feedback from previous batches, additional branches of IIIT Raichur are in the pipeline. IIITR focuses not only on solutions but also on identifying problems. The courses at IIIT Raichur are available to students at both UG and PG levels across various specializations, including Computer Science and Engineering. At the UG level, the college offers a BTech program. The infrastructure at IIIT Raichur is noteworthy, as it provides all the essential amenities required by students.
