IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee was founded in 1847 and is recognized as the seventh IIT designated as an Institution of National Importance. IIT Roorkee holds accreditation from NAAC and is approved by AICTE and UGC. This public technical research university is situated in Uttarakhand and is the oldest technical institution in Asia to receive university status in 1949.
