• For admission to the MBA program, candidates need to complete the application form for CAT through the official CAT website (iimcat.ac.in).
• MTech applicants are required to register for GATE via the official GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) (appsgate.iitr.ac.in). Refer to the GATE application fees below:

• For MSc, candidates must fill out the IIT JAM Application Form.
• For other courses, candidates should apply through IIT Roorkee's official website at iitr.ac.in. The application form must be submitted along with the required documents and application fees before the deadline.

IIT Roorkee Selection Rounds & Counselling

Upon completion of the application process, students are required to take the course-specific entrance exam followed by additional selection rounds (if applicable). IIT Roorkee Fee Refund Criteria

• Only candidates who deposit the waitlisting security amount of INR 50,000 within the specified time will be considered for the waitlist preparation. No requests will be entertained after the deadline for any reason.
• If a candidate rejects the admission offer or withdraws admission (before document verification), an amount of INR 5,000 will be deducted from the deposited amount as processing charges, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the candidate, as per institute rules, tentatively in the second week of August.
• If a student completes the admission registration for the program and then withdraws, only the refundable amount and applicable food charges will be refunded tentatively at the end of the semester.
• If admission is not granted, the full waitlisting security amount of INR 50,000 will be refunded to the candidate as per institute rules, tentatively in the second week of August.

IIT Roorkee Seat Reservation Criteria

IIT Roorkee adheres to the Government of India's mandatory reservation percentages for its BTech seats. Below are the seat reservation percentages for BTech at IIT Roorkee:

• Open (Unreserved): 40.5% of the total available seats for all candidates.
• OBC-NCL: 27% of seats reserved for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer).
• SC: 15% of seats reserved for Scheduled Castes.
• ST: 7.5% of seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes.
• GEN-EWS: 10% of seats reserved for Economically Weaker Sections.

Additional Quotas
