ILBS Delhi Admission 2024: Eligibility & Selection Criteria
ILBS Delhi provides MSc (Nursing) at the postgraduate level along with Post-doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC), Certificate programs, Doctorate of Medicine (DM), MCh, and DNB at the post-doctoral level. Additionally, a PhD is awarded to students engaged in research education.
- Admission to all Post-doctoral programs at ILBS Delhi is based on merit from the national test conducted by ILBS.
- The entrance examination for PhD/PDCC admissions occurs twice a year.
- DM, MCh, and DNB admissions are also determined by the scores achieved in the ILBS-based entrance exam.
- Candidates are required to apply online for all courses at ILBS.
- PhD admission will follow a two-stage process, including a written test and an interview round.
ILBS Delhi Admission 2023: DM, MCh, and DNB
The institute offers a full-time DM program in three specializations, with a course duration of three years.
- Candidates must have completed their MD before the entrance exam date; otherwise, they will not be permitted to take the exam.
- If a candidate is awaiting results, it is mandatory to mention this in the application.
- Candidates must submit their passing certificate to the Associate Dean/Assistant Registrar before the departmental assessment.

ILBS Delhi PDCC and PGCC Admission 2024
The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences offers PDCC in 13 specializations and PGCC in three specializations, each with a course duration of one year. The institute also provides a Certificate course in two specializations, lasting six months. Admissions for both programs are conducted twice a year through an entrance exam.

ILBS Delhi PhD Admission 2024
ILBS, New Delhi, also offers high-quality research education through its PhD program, available in three specializations. Seat allocation for the PhD program is determined by NET/NEET official parameters. The institute conducts its own entrance exam followed by an admission criteria (GD/PI).
Selection Process: The selection for PhD is based on a two-stage evaluation:
- Stage I: Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be invited to take the ILBS Entrance test. The number of candidates called for the interview will depend on the available seats, with an interview ratio of up to 1:5.
- Stage II: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview at ILBS, New Delhi. The total marks will be 100, distributed as follows:
- Candidates who have cleared NET (CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/equivalent) and hold a valid JRF fellowship - 30 marks
- Students with prior research experience (minimum six months) - 20 marks
- Research presentation of 10 minutes - 10 marks
- Interaction with faculty followed by an interview - 40 marks
