Admission to the PGDM programmes at IMI Bhubaneswar involves a comprehensive selection process. Candidates must pass the selection rounds, which generally include entrance exams. For the MBA/PGDM programme, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any discipline. Both fresh graduates and candidates with work experience are eligible to apply.
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate for the FPM programme OR possess any other professional qualification (CA, ICWA, CS, etc.) with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Entrance Tests for Admission include: CAT (Common Admission Test), GMAT, GRE (Graduate Record Examination; however, IIMA will not require GMAT scores), UGC NET Journalism & Mass Communication from June 2004 onwards, CSIR Fellowship (NET)/ JRF from any of the CSIR or UGC Centres in India, and the NBHM Supplementary Test in September.
Step 3: Merit List Release & Counselling
After all selection rounds are completed, candidates who pass the exam process will receive counselling for admission to the courses they applied for. Additionally, IMI Bhubaneswar will publish the merit list for each round for selected applicants. Candidates will need to pay a fee for their chosen courses through Net-Banking, Credit/Debit Card, etc.
