JAGSoM Mumbai provides BBA and MBA programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, respectively. The application process for all UG and PG programs is conducted online. Steps for Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM Mumbai) Admission Process 2025

JAGSoM evaluates candidates based on their innovation potential, solution orientation, and alignment with the school's values, in addition to their academic performance and work experience for admission into its PGDM/MBA program. All shortlisted candidates for the two-year full-time PGDM/MBA program at JAGSoM must participate in the selection process, which includes the following components:

  • JAGSoM Management Aptitude Test (JAGMAT): JAGMAT is an aptitude test consisting of three sections: English Language Proficiency (ELP), Quantitative Aptitude (QA), and Logical Reasoning (LR). Each section is worth 25 marks, totaling 75 marks. There is no negative marking, and the test duration is 90 minutes.
  • Group Exercise (GE): A 30-minute group exercise conducted in groups of six to eight candidates to assess their solution orientation.
  • Personal Interview (PI-1): A personal interview aimed at evaluating the candidate's fit with the institute's values, conducted with fellow batchmates.
  • Personal Interview (PI-2): A personal interview to assess the candidate's value fit with the institute, featuring a panel of three members (1 Faculty Member, 1 Industry Expert, 1 Alumni).

What is the selection process for JAGSoM MBA course?

Aspirants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria and shall submit the application before the deadline. Candidates who pass a UG degree with 50% aggregate in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply for this course. Students must take the JAGMAT exam to take admission. In addition to the JAGMAT conducted for selection, a 30-minute indoor GE session is also conducted in groups of six to eight candidates. This is followed by a PI session after accessing the work experience and academic record of the student that leads to final admission. Additionally, candidates are also required to submit the scores of either CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT and more.
