JIIT Noida Admission Process 2024: Steps
Step 1: Eligibility
- To apply for B Tech programs, candidates must have completed Class 12 in the science stream or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. For M Tech programs, a graduation/B Tech degree or equivalent from a recognized university is required.
Step 2: Application
Applicants must submit their applications through the official JIT website at jiit.ac.in.
Step 3: Selection
- Admissions to JIIT’s B Tech and five-year Integrated B Tech + M Tech courses are based on JEE rank/score.
- For Biology-based B Tech programs (Biotechnology, Bioinformatics only), 50% of the seats will be allocated based on JEE rank merit, while the remaining 50% will be filled based on merit in the Class XII examination for students who have taken Biology/Biotechnology with Physics in Class XII.
Candidates with a background in Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, and Maths can apply for both admission routes (i.e., JEE-based or Bio-based) by completing separate application forms. - Admission to M Tech courses is based on a written test, PGCET, conducted by the university. However, candidates with valid GATE scores can apply for direct admission and are exempt from the entrance test.
- JIIT offers an MBA program through its management institute, Jaypee Business School. Admission to the MBA program is based on scores from CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT.
