MMU Solan - Maharishi Markandeshwar University

Founded in 2009, Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) in Solan also has three additional campuses located in Ambala, Karnal, and Mullana. MMU is a private institution established by the Maharishi Markandeshwar Education Trust. The Solan campus is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Medicine and Health Sciences.

MMU Solan Admission Process 2024

Applicants wishing to enroll in courses at MMU Solan must submit separate applications for each program. They can apply by downloading the application form and submitting it offline. For all programs, seats are allocated in a 1:3 ratio for State Quota and Management Quota according to MMU Solan's regulations. Reservations in the State Quota follow the rules set by the State Government. Additionally, 15 percent of the total seats are reserved for NRI candidates. UG courses

• For Diploma and BSc programs, selection is based on marks obtained in Class 12.
• For Nursing courses, including BSc in Nursing and GNM, candidates are chosen based on their scores in the entrance test conducted by the University.
• Admission to the MBBS program is determined by merit in the Common Entrance Test (CET) or NEET UG exam.

PG courses

• Selection for the MSc program is based on the scores obtained during graduation.
• Candidates for the MD and MS programs are selected based on merit in the NEET PG entrance exam.
