The number of seats varies by program at NUALS. There are very few seats available for the LLM program, while the integrated LLB program has a greater capacity to accommodate eligible candidates. NUALS Kochi Seats Reservation 2025
Seat reservations at NUALS are made according to Government regulations. Reservations are available for Kerala Domicile students from various categories such as SC, ST, and SEBC. 5% of the total intake of the 60 seats are reserved for Differently Abled Persons. Steps for NUALS Kochi Admission Process 2025
The NUALS Kochi admission process consists of three steps, starting with the application process, followed by shortlisting candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam, and concluding with final admission offers. Admission to NUALS's flagship law courses is conducted through CLAT. The detailed step-by-step NUALS admission process is outlined below:
Step 1: NUALS Application
Candidates seeking admission to the law courses offered at GNLU must apply via CLAT at the link (consortiumofnlus.ac.in/). The application fee for both UG and PG programs is INR 4,000 (General) and INR 3,500 for SC/ST candidates. Read more about the CLAT exam syllabus for 2025.
Step 2: NUALS Selection Rounds

For PG diploma admissions, preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, hospital administration, or a Bachelor’s in law for the PG Diploma in Medical Law & Ethics. Candidates with a Bachelor’s in law will be prioritized for the PG Diploma in Cyber Law.
Step 3: NUALS Final Admission
