Sardar Patel University

Sardar Patel University (SPU) is a public institution located in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, established in 1955 through an Act of the Legislative Assembly of the former Bombay Province. SPU is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has received accreditation from NAAC with Grade-A. The university also acts as the affiliating authority for 148 colleges.

SPU provides over 200 courses, encompassing undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, integrated courses, diplomas, and various add-on courses.
