What entrance exam scores does UPES School of Business accept for admission to MBA?
UPES accepts various national-level entrance exam scores for granting MBA admissions:
1. CAT - Minimum cut off varies from 70 to 75 percentile across different specializations. The higher the CAT score, the better scholarship/fee waiver chances.
2. CMAT/XAT - UPES accepts CMAT and XAT scores for shortlisting candidates. Expected minimum scores are usually around 90+ percentile in these exams, though final cut-offs vary.
3. GMAT - Applicants can also apply with a competitive GMAT score - generally around 500+ marks. This is mostly for those with relevant work experience.
4. NMAT and other test scores may also be considered during admission evaluations.
Additionally, shortlisted candidates have to go through further screening process including:
- Essay submissions
- Personal Interview (PI) rounds
- Academic profile evaluation
- Work experience appraisal if applicable
Finally admissions are granted based on a composite score considering test scores, academics, interview performance etc.
In summary, good CAT scores are valued, but CMAT/XAT/GMAT scores in 90+ percentile range can also make you eligible. Performance in further admission screening process also matters a lot for final selection.
