School of Design, UPES

UPES has been ranked 46th in the 'University' category by NIRF 2024. The UPES School of Design provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses to students across various design disciplines and other fields. This esteemed institution was established as a constituent college of UPES Dehradun, which holds accreditations from IACBE, NBA, and an A Grade from NAAC, in addition to being approved by UGC. The college boasts cutting-edge infrastructure that supports technology-enabled learning, including an AR/VR lab, Mac lab, film and media lab, 3D printing facilities, and more.

The UPES School of Design has formed a partnership with IED (The Istituto Europeo di Design) in Italy. It is a full-time member of the Cumulus Association and the World Design Organisation (WDO). The placement cell at the School of Design UPES provides placement assistance to students, with the highest package during the 2023 placement season reaching INR 13.75 LPA. The college is staffed by experienced faculty members, each possessing over 20 years of demonstrated work and teaching experience.

UPES Design School offers student exchange programs in collaboration with international universities such as BESIGN-The Sustainable Design School (France), Le Ecole de Design Atlantique (France), IED Italy, and others.
