Q: How many rounds of NEET MDS counselling will be held for seat allotment?

A total of five rounds of NEET MDS counselling are conducted for seat allotment. Originally four rounds are conducted by MCC, after which an additional round is announced based on the seat vacancies. It must be noted that whole process of counselling is held online. Eligible candidates will have to register online to participate in the seat allotment process. Registration can be done in every round except last one where seats are allotted based on the choices declared in previous round. Apart from registration, NEET MDS counselling comprises steps such as choice declaration, seat processing, allotment result and document verification.

Q: Can I make offline registration for NEET MDS counselling?

No, candidates will have to make online registration to participate in the counseling process for NEET MDS seat allotment. Registration can be done on the official website, mcc.nic.in once counselling begins. Registration is mandatory to become eligible for seat allotment process. Registration will be followed by choice declaration. Candidates can declare choice of their prefrence and lock them. Registration can be done in any round except last round of NEET MDS counselling. Total four rounds of counselling will be held for NEET MDS counselling and seat allotment.

NEET MDS 2025 exam was scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2025, but has been postponed to April 19, 2025. NBE announced the revised exam date on February 15, 2025, through a newspaper advertisement. NBEMS is yet to announce the postponed date or the complete schedule for the exam.
