Telangana University

Founded in 2008, Telangana University is a state university that encompasses three campuses. The primary campus is situated in Dichpally, while the other two campuses are located in Bikhnoor and Sarangpur. The university provides a total of nine courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across various fields, including Science, Humanities, Law, and more.

Telangana University offers three undergraduate and six postgraduate courses in different specializations. Admissions for all courses at Telangana University are determined by the rank achieved by candidates in the Telangana University Common Entrance Test (TUCET), which is administered by Osmania University, Hyderabad. In each program, 85 percent of the total seats are reserved for local candidates from the Nizamabad and Adilabad districts. Below is a brief overview of the selection criteria specific to each course:

Undergraduate courses:

• For admission to the LLB program, the University considers not only the TUCET score but also the marks obtained by candidates in the TSLAWCET.
• B.Ed candidates with a valid TS EDCET score are also eligible for admission.

Postgraduate courses:

• Applicants for the MSc and MBA programs at Telangana University may also take the TS ICET, which is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal.
• LLM candidates can also take the PGCLET, in addition to the TUCET, to gain admission.
