University of Patanjali

Founded in 2006, the University of Patanjali is a private institution situated in Haridwar. It was established by Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna with the aim of providing quality education that integrates various aspects of oriental wisdom and scientific knowledge. The university is backed by the Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust (PYP) and has received approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC). Additionally, the University of Patanjali is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The University of Patanjali provides undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and PhD programs across 10 academic departments. The flagship programs at Patanjali Vishwavidyalaya Haridwar include BNYS and BSc. The university also offers scholarships to outstanding students.
