Admission to all courses at the University of Hyderabad is determined by an entrance examination.Also referred to as the Central University of Hyderabad, it currently provides PG, integrated, and doctoral programs in the fields of Science, Management, Engineering, and Law through its various schools and departments. All PG and doctoral programs at the university are available under its 12 schools and 41 departments. Additionally, integrated MA and MSc programs are offered through the College of Integrated Studies.
The University organizes an entrance exam for admissions to MSc, MA, MPA, MFA, MPH, Executive MBA, MBA, and PhD programs. University of Hyderabad Admission Process 2025: CUET UG Counselling Process 2025
The University of Hyderabad has adopted the CUET UG exam for admissions to its undergraduate programs. The admission process for Integrated PG courses, such as Integrated MSc and Integrated MA, will be conducted through common counselling organized by the University of Hyderabad. Initially, candidates who have qualified for the exam must register for the counselling process.
Step 1: Register for University of Hyderabad UG Counselling via CUET UG
- Register on the UOH-Samarth portal (uohydcuet.samarth.edu.in) before the deadline.
- Pay the application fees, which are: INR 600 for General category students, INR 550 for EWS students, INR 400 for OBC NCL candidates, and INR 275 for SC/ST and PWD candidates.
- Candidates are required to make only one payment for courses within each cluster. However, merit lists will be created for each course separately. After successful payment of the application fees, an application form number will be generated. Candidates should print the application form and keep it safe for future reference.
Step 2: Merit List Release and Document Verification upon Selection
Check the Merit List. If selected, visit the University campus for physical reporting for admission counselling and document verification.
Step 3: Confirmation of Admission
To confirm their admission, students can make the necessary fee payments to secure their seat.
