Registration for APICET 2026 Counseling Has Commenced: Access the Direct Link and Procedure

The Andhra Pradesh Department of Higher Education has officially launched the counselling registration for the AP ICET 2026, aimed at facilitating admissions into MBA and MCA programs. Candidates who have successfully passed the AP ICET 2026 examination can register for the counselling process on the official portal, cap.apcfss.in, from August 24 until August 31, 2026. This initiative is specifically designed for admissions under the Convenor quota, allowing eligible candidates to secure their places in various institutions.

To participate in the counselling process, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria. General category applicants are required to have a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in their qualifying bachelor's degree, while those belonging to SC, ST, and BC categories must have at least 45 percent. For MBA admissions, candidates must possess a recognized three-year degree, whereas MCA applicants should hold a graduation degree of at least three years, ideally with Mathematics at the 10+2 or degree level.

The registration process includes a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 1,250 for Open Category (OC) and Backward Class (BC) candidates, and Rs 650 for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. This fee can be paid online through various methods, including net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI. Additionally, online certificate verification is scheduled to take place from August 25 to September 1, 2026, ensuring that all candidates meet the necessary requirements.

Special category candidates, including those under PWD, NCC, CAP, Sports and Games, Scouts and Guides, and Anglo-Indian quotas, are required to attend physical verification at the Government Polytechnic in Vijayawada on August 31 and September 1, 2026. Following the registration, candidates must verify their eligibility status online and can enter their web options from August 27 to September 2, 2026, with modifications allowed on September 3.

The seat allotment results will be announced on September 7, 2026, after 6:00 PM. Successful candidates must complete both online self-reporting and physical reporting at their allotted institutions between September 8 and September 11, 2026. This structured timeline aims to streamline the admission process and ensure that candidates are well-informed and prepared for their academic journeys.
