The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is set to release the first phase seat allotment results for the AP ICET 2026 counselling process tomorrow. Candidates who participated in the web counselling and submitted their preferred college choices will be able to access their provisional allotment status through the official website at cap.apcfss.in.
This initial round of seat allocation covers a total of 44,730 seats available for postgraduate management and computer applications programmes across the state. The intake includes over 28,000 seats for MBA courses and more than 16,000 seats designated for MCA programmes, providing significant opportunities for students seeking admission to management colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
The allocation of seats is conducted based on a structured set of criteria established by the authorities. The primary determinant for seat assignment is the candidate's rank in the AP ICET 2026 examination. This is followed by the specific college preferences indicated by the student during the web options entry phase. Furthermore, the final allotment takes into account category and caste reservation policies, as well as regional seat availability across the Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University regions.
Once the results are published, candidates are required to log in to the official portal using their registration credentials to view their status. Those who are allotted a seat must download and print their provisional allotment letter. The admission process requires successful candidates to complete an online self-reporting procedure, followed by a mandatory in-person visit to their assigned college campus to present their original academic certificates for verification.
For students who do not receive an allotment in this first phase, or for those who wish to seek an upgrade to a different institution, the authorities will provide further opportunities. Following the conclusion of the first round, the APSCHE is expected to announce the schedule for the second phase of counselling. Any seats that remain unfilled after the completion of the first round will be carried forward to this subsequent phase, where eligible candidates will be permitted to submit fresh web options to secure their preferred placements.
