AP LAWCET 2026 Counselling Schedule Released for LLB and LLM Admissions

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has officially released the counselling schedule for the 2026 AP LAWCET, marking the start of the admission process for law programmes across the state. Candidates who successfully qualified in the entrance examination are now eligible to participate in the web-based counselling process to secure seats in 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM courses.

The registration window for the first phase of counselling is set to open on September 24, 2026, and will remain active until September 29, 2026. Additionally, the council has scheduled the special category document verification for the first phase to take place on September 29, 2026. All registration activities must be completed through the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

Counselling Process and Documentation Requirements

The AP LAWCET 2026 counselling is conducted entirely online, requiring candidates to complete several key steps to be considered for seat allocation. Participants must register on the official portal, pay the prescribed counselling fee, and upload the necessary supporting documents. Following the registration phase, candidates will be required to participate in a web option entry process, where they can select their preferred colleges and courses.

The final seat allotment will be determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate's rank in the AP LAWCET, applicable reservation criteria, and the specific choices submitted during the web option entry. Once the seat allotment results are declared, successful candidates will be required to report to their designated institutions to finalize their admission.

To ensure a smooth verification process, candidates are advised to have all essential documents prepared. Mandatory documentation typically includes the AP LAWCET rank card, hall ticket, and a copy of the application form. Academic records such as the Class 10 and Class 12 marks memos, graduation marksheets, and degree certificates for 3-year LLB applicants are also required. Furthermore, candidates must provide proof of residence, such as an Aadhaar card, along with relevant certificates including transfer, migration, study certificates from Class 6 onwards, and caste or income certificates where applicable.
