AP PGECET 2026 Counselling Registration Opens: Check Dates and Process

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has officially opened the web-counselling registration window for the AP PGECET 2026 admission process. Candidates who have qualified through GATE, AP PGECET, or GPAT are now eligible to participate in the counselling sessions to secure seats in their preferred postgraduate engineering and pharmacy programs.

The registration process, which includes the mandatory payment of the processing fee, is currently active and will remain open until September 21, 2026. All eligible candidates, ranging from rank 1 to the final rank, are encouraged to complete their registration through the official portal at cap.apcfss.in to ensure their participation in the upcoming seat allotment process.

Registration Process and Fee Structure

To begin the registration, candidates must visit the official website and select the “New Candidate Registration” option. After choosing the “AP PGECET” category, applicants are required to enter specific details, including their degree board, hall ticket number, year of passing, date of birth, mobile number, and Aadhar number. Upon confirming the declaration and generating an OTP, candidates will receive their unique username and password via their registered email and mobile number.

Once registered, candidates must log in to the portal to verify their personal details, upload the necessary documentation in PDF format, and proceed to the fee payment section. The processing fee for the web-counselling is set at INR 1250 for OC/BC candidates, while SC/ST candidates are required to pay INR 650. Payments can be completed using various digital modes, including net banking, credit cards, or debit cards. After the payment is successful, candidates should download the receipt for their records.

Important Dates and Next Steps

The window for registration and fee payment is strictly available from September 16 to September 21, 2026. Following the conclusion of the registration phase, the authorities will proceed with the seat allotment process, which is scheduled to be released on September 29, 2026.
