The Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Department has officially declared the Phase I seat allotment results for the AP PGECET 2026 counselling process. Candidates who participated in the registration process for MTech admissions can now access their allotment status through the official CAP portal at cap.apcfss.in.

To view the results, candidates are required to log in to the portal using their registered user ID and password. The allotment result provides details regarding the college and course assigned to the applicant based on their rank and preferences submitted during the counselling phase.

Steps to Access Allotment Results and Reporting Procedures

Candidates who have been successfully allotted a seat must follow a specific procedure to secure their admission. After logging into the official website, applicants should navigate to the candidate login section, enter their credentials along with the provided captcha code, and view their allotment status. Those satisfied with the allocation can proceed to download their official allotment letter.

Following the online allotment, the admission process requires a two-stage reporting system. First, candidates must complete the self-reporting process through the online system. Subsequently, it is mandatory for students to physically report to their allocated college to finalise their admission. The deadline for completing both the self-joining process and physical reporting at the respective institutions is October 14, 2026.

Required Documentation for Admission

To ensure a smooth admission process, candidates are advised to keep a comprehensive set of documents ready. These include the GATE/GPAT scorecard, the AP PGECET 2026 rank card, and the hall ticket. Academic records, such as the SSC or equivalent marks memo, intermediate or diploma certificates, and degree consolidated marks memos, are also essential.

Additionally, candidates must provide proof of residence, study certificates from 10th grade through to their degree, and a transfer certificate. Depending on their category or specific status, applicants may also need to present an EWS certificate, community certificate, income certificate, or documents related to NCC, sports, or PwD quotas. Non-local candidates are required to submit specific residence proof as mandated by the authorities. All candidates are encouraged to complete their reporting formalities well before the October 14 deadline to avoid any last-minute complications.
