The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has launched a free coaching initiative for students in Classes 11 and 12, aimed at preparing them for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). This program is being implemented across 155 selected Saraswati Vidya Niketan Model Schools throughout the state. The initiative follows directives from Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, who emphasized the need for affordable competitive examination preparation within government-supported educational institutions.
In addition to the free coaching, BSEB is introducing the 'Vidya Saathi' interactive learning app, which will connect students from Classes 9 to 12 in 700 Model Schools. This app is designed to provide round-the-clock access to teachers, allowing students to clarify doubts and grasp challenging concepts. The goal is to enhance academic support for those preparing for significant entrance examinations like JEE and NEET, ensuring that students have the resources they need to succeed.
According to reports, the free coaching program is already underway in two schools located in Patna, where both residential and non-residential coaching options are being offered. The non-residential coaching will also be available in various locations, including Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Chapra, Purnea, Saharsa, Munger, and Bhagalpur. This widespread initiative aims to reach as many students as possible, providing them with the necessary tools to excel in their future academic pursuits.
The BSEB's efforts reflect a commitment to improving educational outcomes in Bihar, particularly in competitive examination preparation. By leveraging both traditional coaching methods and modern technology through the Vidya Saathi app, the board is working to create a more supportive learning environment for students. This initiative is expected to significantly benefit those aspiring to enter prestigious engineering and medical colleges across the country.
As the program progresses, BSEB will continue to monitor its impact and effectiveness, ensuring that students receive the best possible support. This initiative not only aims to enhance academic performance but also seeks to empower students with the confidence and skills needed to succeed in their chosen fields. The BSEB's proactive approach in addressing educational challenges is a positive step towards fostering a more competitive and capable student body in Bihar.
