The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) has officially launched a special admission window for its postgraduate programs for the 2026-27 academic session. This initiative is specifically designed to fill vacant seats through an SC/ST special round and a subsequent mop-up process, providing a final opportunity for students who may have missed earlier application deadlines.
Candidates who have successfully appeared for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs (CUET-PG) are eligible to participate in this round. The university has confirmed that admission will be determined based on the marks secured in the qualifying examinations, provided that all institutional eligibility criteria are met by the applicants.
The online registration portal for the CUJ PG special round opened on September 16, 2026. Prospective students are required to complete their application submissions through the university's official online portal no later than September 23, 2026. It is essential for applicants to ensure their details are accurate before the deadline, as no further extensions have been indicated.
Following the conclusion of the registration period, the university will publish the list of registered candidates on September 25, 2026. Once the list is released, the admission process will move into the physical document verification stage. This mandatory verification is scheduled to take place on September 28, 2026, between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM. During this time, candidates must present their original academic certificates along with a set of photocopies for verification purposes.
The final step in the admission cycle requires selected candidates to complete the payment of their admission fees. This transaction must be processed online on September 29, 2026, to confirm their enrollment for the current academic year.
