The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to initiate the registration process for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2027 by the third week of October 2026. While an official notification is yet to be released, the timeline is projected based on the previous year's examination cycle, during which the application window opened on October 17.

Prospective candidates planning to appear for the upcoming management entrance exam are advised to monitor the official NTA website for the formal announcement. The registration process will be conducted entirely online, and applicants must ensure their submissions are completed within the specified deadline to remain eligible for the examination.

Anticipated Schedule and Exam Format

Following the registration phase, which is expected to run through the last week of November 2026, the examination is tentatively slated for the last week of January 2027. The NTA is expected to conduct the test in two sessions on a single day, delivered in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at designated examination centres across the country.

The CMAT 2027 question paper will consist of 100 questions covering five core sections: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. While the registration schedule is the primary focus for now, the NTA typically announces specific exam dates at a later stage. According to the tentative timeline, the release of admit cards is expected in the third week of January 2027, followed by the answer key in the last week of January and the final results in the second week of February 2027.

Application Fees and Submission Process

The application process requires candidates to pay a fee exclusively through online payment methods. The fee structure for CMAT 2027 has been categorized based on candidate demographics. For male candidates under the General, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories, the application fee is set at INR 2,500. For female candidates in these categories, as well as all candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PWD categories, the fee is INR 1,250. Transgender candidates are also required to pay an application fee of INR 1,250.

Candidates are reminded that completing the registration form within the stipulated timeframe is mandatory. Failure to finalize the application process by the official deadline will result in disqualification from appearing for the CMAT 2027 examination. Further updates regarding the official notification and specific registration dates will be provided by the NTA on their official portal.
