The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has officially revised the counselling schedule for the fourth round of the COMEDK UGET 2026 admissions process. Candidates participating in this final round of seat allocation are advised to take note of the updated timelines released by the examination authority to ensure their seat allotment status remains secure.
The primary adjustment to the schedule concerns the window for decision-making regarding seat allotments. Originally set to conclude at 2:00 PM on September 3, the deadline has been extended by the authorities. Candidates now have until 5:00 PM today to finalize their decisions. It is critical for all applicants to adhere to this revised timeline, as failure to submit a decision within the specified period will result in the candidate being excluded from the round 4 counselling process.
In addition to the extension of the decision-making window, the authorities have clarified the subsequent steps for candidates who have secured a seat. For those who choose the 'Accept and Freeze' option, the final deadline for reporting to their allotted institutions is set for September 8 at 3:00 PM. Students are encouraged to complete their reporting formalities well before this cutoff to avoid any last-minute technical or administrative complications.
The Consortium has also emphasized that this current phase represents the final round of the counselling process for the 2026 academic session. Consequently, there is no provision for seat cancellation during this stage. Candidates are urged to review the updated schedule directly on the official website at comedk.org to ensure they have the most accurate information regarding their admission status and the required post-allotment procedures. By staying informed of these changes, applicants can effectively manage their transition into their respective engineering and dental programs.
