Delhi University has officially commenced the registration process for the 2026-27 semester examinations. Students currently enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programs across the university’s affiliated colleges, as well as those associated with the School of Open Learning (SOL) and the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), are now required to complete their exam forms through the university's online portal.
This registration window is a mandatory step for all regular students, as well as those appearing for Essential Repeat (ER) or improvement papers. The university has streamlined the process through the Samarth portal, where candidates must log in using their official enrollment numbers to select their specific courses and complete the necessary documentation.
The university has established a clear timeline for the submission of these forms to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming assessment period. Students have until October 15, 2026, to submit their registration forms without incurring any additional charges. The online portal will remain open for these standard submissions until 11:59 PM on that date.
For students who are unable to meet the initial deadline, the university has provided a grace period. Applications will continue to be accepted with a late fee until October 30, 2026. Following the conclusion of the student registration phase, affiliated colleges are required to complete the internal verification of all submitted forms, including the review of attendance records and past academic performance, by the October 30 deadline.
According to the official academic calendar, the semester examinations are slated to commence on December 4, 2026. The testing period is expected to continue through January. Students are advised to verify their course selections carefully during the online registration process to prevent any discrepancies in their examination records.
