FMGE October 2026: Registration Deadline Set for Today

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to close the registration window for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) October 2026 session today, September 25. Candidates who intend to participate in this screening test must ensure their online applications are submitted by 11:55 PM.

To complete the registration process, applicants are required to visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in. The board has emphasised that all necessary personal and academic details must be provided accurately within the application form before the deadline expires. Failure to complete the submission by the stipulated time will result in the inability to appear for the upcoming examination.

Application Process and Fee Details

Prospective candidates should navigate to the official portal and select the section dedicated to exams conducted by NBEMS to locate the FMGE application link. The process involves generating login credentials, entering required information, uploading mandatory documents such as photographs and signatures, and successfully processing the examination fee.

The total fee for the FMGE October 2026 session is set at INR 4,650, which includes 18% GST amounting to INR 709.32. Applicants should be aware that any additional charges imposed by the chosen payment gateway will be applied separately during the transaction. It is advised that candidates save a copy of their submitted application form for future reference.

Upcoming Correction Windows and Exam Schedule

Following the conclusion of the initial registration phase, the NBEMS has scheduled a period for candidates to make necessary corrections to their submitted forms. This application edit window is slated to be available from September 29 to September 30, 2026. Furthermore, a selective edit window will be open from October 3 to October 19, 2026, allowing candidates to rectify specific details if required.
