Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has officially opened a special offline registration window for students seeking admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2026 academic session. This initiative is specifically designed for candidates who have not previously registered through any of the university's standard admission channels, including NLT, CET, or CUET.

The university is accepting physical applications for 10 major courses, including BTech, BBA, BCom, BCA, BA English, BA Economics, BA/BBA LLB, BHMCT, MBA, and MCA. Interested applicants must submit their documentation in person at the IPU Facilitation Centre located at the university campus in Dwarka, New Delhi. The submission window is strictly limited, running from September 8, 2026, to September 9, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

Eligibility and Application Process

To participate in this special admission drive, candidates must ensure they meet the specific criteria set by the university. This round is exclusively for those who have not registered through any applicable admission channels. Consequently, students who have already submitted an application form, paid the registration fee for NLT courses, appeared for the CET, or previously registered on the IPU portal for CUET 2026 are not eligible to apply.

Eligible candidates are required to follow a structured procedure to complete their application. First, applicants must obtain the official application form, which is available for download on the university's website, ipu.ac.in, or can be collected directly from the campus. A non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,500 must be paid via a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi.

When visiting the Facilitation Centre at Sector 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi, candidates must bring the completed form along with self-attested photocopies of their entrance exam documentation. This includes the scorecard and admit card for NLT, CET, or CUET. For those applying via CUET, it is mandatory to include the domain-specific subject breakdown as part of their submission package.

Next Steps and Merit List Announcement

Following the conclusion of the two-day submission window, the university will process the applications to determine the next phase of the admission cycle. GGSIPU has scheduled the release of the tentative merit list, the detailed counselling schedule, and the status of vacant seats for September 11, 2026. These updates will be published on the official university website.

Candidates are advised to monitor the university's official portal regularly for these announcements. Furthermore, applicants should ensure that all their original academic documents are prepared and readily available, as these will be required for the subsequent stages of physical reporting and final seat allotment.
