The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) has officially launched the second round of counselling for Gujarat NEET UG 2026. Students aspiring to secure seats in undergraduate medical and dental programmes across the state can now begin the registration process and purchase their required PINs through the official portal.

This phase of the admission process is open to all eligible candidates seeking entry into MBBS and BDS courses. The committee has set a clear timeline for these activities, ensuring that applicants have a designated window to complete their documentation and registration requirements before the next stage of the counselling cycle begins.

Registration Timeline and Application Procedure

The online window for PIN purchase and registration will remain active until September 4, 2026. To participate, candidates must visit the official website at medadmgujarat.ncode.in/UG/Index.aspx. The process requires students to first purchase an online PIN by paying the prescribed fee, which then serves as a credential to access the registration form. Once logged in, candidates are required to input their personal information, academic records, and NEET UG 2026 examination details.

After successfully submitting the online application, candidates must proceed to book an appointment for document verification. It is essential for applicants to download and print their registration details, as these will be necessary for the subsequent verification stage. The committee emphasises that online registration alone is insufficient to complete the counselling process; candidates must ensure they follow through with the mandatory in-person verification at a designated Help Centre.

Mandatory Document Verification Requirements

Document verification is scheduled to take place between September 2 and September 5, 2026. During this period, candidates must report to their selected Help Centre at the time of their scheduled appointment. A critical update for this round is the strict requirement for original documentation. The committee has clarified that DigiLocker documents, colour photocopies, or digital printouts will not be accepted as valid proof.

Applicants are required to present their original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies for submission. Failure to produce the original documents at the Help Centre will result in the candidate being unable to proceed with the verification process. To ensure a smooth experience, students are advised to have all necessary certificates organised and ready well in advance of their appointment date.
