The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has officially commenced the registration process for the second round of Haryana NEET UG counselling for the 2026 academic session. Eligible candidates who have qualified for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) can now submit their applications for MBBS and BDS seats across the state through the designated online portal.

Prospective students are advised to complete their registration formalities via the official website at uhsrugcounselling.com. The authorities have set a firm deadline for this phase of the admission process, requiring all interested applicants to submit their forms no later than September 12, 2026. It is recommended that candidates initiate their applications well in advance of the closing date to avoid any potential technical issues.

Registration Process and Application Fees

To participate in the second round of counselling, candidates must navigate to the official website and select the new registration option. The application process requires users to agree to the provided declaration before proceeding to enter their NEET 2026 roll number and application number. Once the system verifies the NEET details, applicants will be prompted to fill in the mandatory information and upload the necessary documentation.

The registration process is finalized upon the successful payment of the application fee, which varies based on the candidate's category. For students in the General category, the registration fee is set at INR 2,500. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories are required to pay a fee of INR 1,250. For NRI candidates, the application fee for the counselling process is INR 10,000. All payments must be completed through the online portal as part of the submission procedure.

Important Guidelines for Applicants

Candidates are encouraged to review all instructions provided on the official portal before beginning their application. Ensuring that all personal and academic details match the information provided during the NEET examination is critical for a smooth verification process. As this is a centralized process managed by the DMER, all updates regarding the subsequent stages of the counselling schedule will be communicated through the official website.

Students should ensure that they have all required documents ready for upload before starting the online form. Following the submission of the registration form and the successful payment of the applicable fees, candidates should retain a copy of their application for future reference. The counselling process remains the primary pathway for securing a seat in medical and dental colleges within Haryana for the current academic year.
