Counselling Schedule and Key Deadlines

The initial phase of the counselling process, which includes the release of candidate ranks and the seat matrix, begins on September 29. Students have until October 2, 2026, at 11:50 PM to finalise their choice filling and complete the necessary document uploads. Following this, the first round of seat allotment is scheduled to be published on October 5, 2026, starting at 11 AM.

For those participating in the first round, the deadline for university document verification is October 6, 2026, by 11:50 PM. Candidates who may need to re-submit documents have until October 7, 2026, at 11:50 AM to do so. The deadline for the payment of the seat acceptance fee for the first round is set for October 7, 2026, at 4 PM.

The counselling process will proceed through subsequent rounds to ensure all seats are filled based on merit and candidate preferences. The second round of seat allotment is slated for October 9, 2026, with the seat acceptance fee payment deadline falling on October 10, 2026, at 4 PM. The third round of allotments will be released on October 12, 2026, with the corresponding fee payment deadline on October 13, 2026, at 4 PM.

Mop-Up Round and Process Overview

The ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 counselling will consist of four regular rounds of seat allocation, followed by a Mop-Up or final round.
