ICMAI to Close CMA December 2026 Exam Application Window Without Late Fee

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) is approaching the final deadline for students to submit their examination applications for the December 2026 term. This current window allows candidates to register for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final level examinations without the requirement of paying an additional late fee.

Students intending to appear for the upcoming December session are advised to complete their submissions through the official ICMAI website at icmai.in. Once this initial period concludes, the institute will transition to a late-submission phase, during which applicants will be required to pay an additional fee of INR 500 to process their examination forms.

Important Details for CMA December 2026 Candidates

The application process is exclusively available to candidates who have already completed their formal admission requirements. It is important for students to distinguish between the initial admission process and the current examination application stage, as these are two separate procedures required for eligibility. Only those who have successfully registered and completed the necessary admission formalities are eligible to access and submit the examination forms for the December term.

The ICMAI has already confirmed the schedule for the December 2026 examinations, which will be conducted in an offline format. The Foundation course examination is scheduled to take place on December 13, 2026. Meanwhile, the Intermediate and Final level examinations are slated to be held over a week-long period, commencing on December 10 and concluding on December 17, 2026.

Following the closure of the application window, the institute will begin preparations for the issuance of admit cards. While the exact date for the release of hall tickets has not been finalized, the ICMAI is expected to make them available to registered candidates during the last week of November 2026. Students will be able to download their documents directly from the official student portal at icmai.in/ClntStudents/AdmitCard once the link is activated.
