IIM Ahmedabad Invites Applications for Second Batch of Blended MBA in Business Analytics and AI

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has officially commenced the admission process for the second cohort of its two-year Blended MBA Programme in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (BPGP: BA & AI). This specialized course is specifically designed to cater to the needs of working professionals and entrepreneurs who aim to secure leadership positions within data-driven industries and AI-focused business environments.

The programme structure is built around a hybrid learning model, spanning six academic terms over a two-year duration. Students will engage in a combination of online live sessions and three mandatory on-campus modules. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering essential management disciplines, statistical analysis, machine learning, advanced artificial intelligence, finance, and strategic management, supplemented by hands-on projects and industry-relevant case studies.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, such as a CA, CS, ICWA, or CMA, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA. The institute has also specified work experience requirements: candidates with a three-year undergraduate degree must have at least three years of professional experience, while those with a four-year undergraduate degree require a minimum of two years of experience, calculated as of March 31, 2027.

Regarding entrance examinations, applicants are required to submit a valid score from the CAT, GMAT, or GRE, provided the test was taken on or after January 1, 2022. Alternatively, candidates who do not possess these scores have the option to appear for the IIM Ahmedabad admission test specifically conducted for this programme. Programme Outcomes and Certification

The programme offers a flexible exit option for students. Those who choose to conclude their studies after the first year are eligible to receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics and AI.
