The Indian Institute of Kharagpur will close the extended application window for the Joint Admission Test for Masters scheduled for February 14, 2027 (JAM) today. Candidates are advised to submit their application forms before the given deadline to avoid last-minute hassle.
Earlier, the last date to apply for IIT JAM 2027 was set as October 19. It was later extended by the organising institute to accommodate more candidates.
The JOAPS application portal for corrections to the application form on a payment basis will be activated on November 10. Admit cards will be released a few days before the scheduled examination.

Who is eligible for JAM 2027?

Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree or are appearing for the final examination of their qualifying degree in 2027 are eligible to appear for JAM.
Admission through JAM 2027 is subject to the following eligibility conditions:
  • The undergraduate programme should have been completed before the date of admission to the respective Admitting Institute.
  • Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with the required eligibility, as specified by the respective Admitting Institute, must be submitted within the prescribed timeline.

  • Complete registration by filling in the basic information.
